WELCOME!

Michael Skye here.  I will be your virtual coach for the next 30 days.

This is Wealth Warrior Awakenings 101, an introduction to Wealth Warrior concepts.  This first session is an orientation to help you to get the most from the program.

After reading today's material, you'll integrate in writing what you got from the material and post your integrations and actions in the form provided at the bottom of the page.

When we say 'integrate,' we mean verbalize your thoughts by putting them into words, and connect several thoughts to build a clear picture.  We'll be getting more clear on the skill of 'integrating' early in the course.  We'll make distinctions about how we use verbal integration to get clear, to learn and to 'awaken.'

The purpose of verbally integrating in this program is to get clear and make new distinctions, not just to understand or worse to see what you do and don't agree with.

If you want to take very little from this program, only read the daily awakenings, tell yourself you 'get it,' then post a sloppy, low-effort integration and action.

The material will only be long enough to give you insights to integrate on your own. The real insights will come from your own integrating, and the value of each session to you depends on how much you verbally integrate the material. You are the teacher, teaching yourself.

If you really want to benefit, grow and see the world through the eyes of the wealth warrior,... integrate, integrate, integrate.

There are many people, who will never take this program, because they are afraid to expose their weaknesses by posting their integrations and actions.  Those who do are taking a risk.

Taking that risk, exposing yourself to feedback and criticism, is one of the fastest ways to learn and move towards mastery. Warriors take action and are not stopped by irrational fear.

If mastery is your aim (and I would hope it is), be clear with yourself that mastery does not come from reading alone.

Anyone could read the material for these 30 sessions, and think to himself, "OK, good distinction, Skye. There's something new here. I 'get' it. I learned something."

And anyone could read it, and simply compare it to their previous knowledge to see what they agree with and disagree with. This person might be hard pressed to make new insights. "OK, Skye. That's pretty much common sense. Teach me something I don't already know."

However, mastery does not come from reading. How much you "learn" during this course is up to you. If all you do is read the material and reply with a short "integration," you're wasting your time. You'll be thinking you're learning something, when you're not.

That brings me to a little distinction I'd like to integrate. A master knows he has not "learned" anything until what he has learned has changed who he is, what he does, or how he does.

By reading the course material you can make sense out of the concepts and thus "understand" them to a certain extent. But the more you integrate them into your life, the more you will learn.

Posting Integrations

An integration, as we mean it here, is not a statement or a conclusion. It is usually a series of sentences that build clarity about a subject. It's ideal to relate your integrations to your life, your values, your system.

After reading the material for the day, imagine you've been asked to teach a class, and you've just been handed your class material. Now, conduct your class -teach!  Just start typing. Expand upon the material with examples and integrations. You are the teacher teaching the class, right now. You have no time to prepare the class, just teach. Teach the class (or yourself) how to integrate the material into their life.

You may be surprised what happens. Often after just reading something, you may think you have no insights, nothing to teach. But then when you start writing, you make more and more integrations. The more you write every day during this course, the more you will learn.

Try to integrate to the point of "Aha!"/insight/awakening. The more we integrate, the more we really learn.

A Wealth Warrior taking this program would look specifically each day for insights he could use to upgrade his personal operations manual, his self-guidance system. Then he would take the action of upgrading it. Even though most of us don't have a formal self-guidance system, let's still be warriors and take action as a result of our insights .

Posting Actions

Past Tense

Only post actions that are  completed actions.  Actions should not be posted as:

I will...
I should...
I am thinking about...
I am contemplating...
I am considering...
I want to...
I am going to...

Nothing in future or present tense, please. For real benefit, only post actions completed, such as this:

--I scheduled _________ into my DayTimer.
--I began a new ritual formula and ...
--I became a member at the Online Training Camp
--I upgraded my morning exercise formula
--I upgraded my scoring system...

Most actions posted in present and future tense are quite impotent, because they don't lock it into your system. They don't end in the action that you think they will. Saying 'I am thinking about...' or 'I am going to ...' is an easy way to cop out.

Want to get more from the class? Post actions in past tense.

Deciding or committing are not actions.  Rather than say, "I decided," or "I committed," Tell us what you did as a result of your integrations. If you are 'going to' do something or if you 'committed' to do something, tell us you scheduled it or otherwise integrated it into your DayTimer or other scheduling system.

The best actions are long-term upgrades to your system, but short of that, tell us what you scheduled into your system or what you already did.

PREVIEW SELECTED PARTICIPANT INTEGRATIONS & ACTIONS
INTEGRATIONS: I am taking this course because I desire to resolve the issues in my life, not some of them, or the bad ones but all of them. I want off this merry-go-round!!! I seek clarity, awareness and mastery so that I am able to take consistent actions that create real results in my life. I want Honor, Wealth, Power, and Freedom!!!
I am just like you, all of you at one time or another in our lives, lost, confused, scared, frustrated, and tired so very tired. I am a seeker, seeking to find an answer, a resolution, a resolve to this inner turmoil that I have been living with for as long as I can remember. I am looking to learn how to create my own self-guidance systems, to learn how to become a man of Bold Action, I am looking to learn how to become a Wealth Warrior! The most important thing to me is Freedom; internally and externally. I want to evolve into the person that I know that I am capable of being, yet I sense that I cannot get there from here, not with the knowledge, tools and beliefs that I currently have.

Integrate: To bring together into a whole; fit together; unify. To make whole or complete by the addition of necessary parts.

To bring together the outer lessons with my inner world. To take the lessons and make them and myself whole. The way that I know that I have accomplished this is by my actions.

We learn by doing and in this case by writing about how some thought, concept or idea relates to us and our world.

For me it is about how I have become a split personality. By that I mean I see/believe myself to be a bunch of different people ie: father, son, employee, business owner, boyfriend etc…
My challenge is to integrate all these people into one person a Wealth Warrior.

Integrating is a skill and like any other skill in order to be learned it must be practiced. I have written and dug deep into today’s lesson in an attempt to integrate it into my life.

There are levels of integration. How do I know when I have really integrated something, that I really have gotten it and understand it? How do I know when it has become a part of me?

When I see the changes in my actions.
Wealth Warriors are men of ACTION.

A master knows he has not "learned" anything until what he has learned has changed who he is, what he does, or how he does.

Over and over again, around and around we go
never stopping long enough to know
like a thousand pieces of broken glass scattered on the floor
how could we know who we are, what we are here for?

Integration is like a broom and dust pan!

Self-guidance systems. I have been taught to think like a slave, to act like a sub human being. I have been blocked from my true potential. I am confused, split, scattered, lost, frustrated. I don’t know who or what I am from one moment to the next. I keep looking for some person, place or thing to show me who/what I am. I keep looking for the answer to my problems outside of myself because I am so confused and lost inside. I am a ball of turmoil inside. This battle, this war that I am losing to time. I need new tools, new weapons, new knowledge, a new self.

Actions, Actions, Actions, I was taught that I had better do the right action or else. I was never taught that the only bad action was no action at all. I want to learn how to take BOLD ACTION! I want to be a Wealth Warrior. I want to be a man of Bold Action. A man of Honor and Wealth.
A journey that I have never taken before, my whole life I have never really taken the time to integrate myself. To bring together the different parts of Leonard. I have spent my whole life trying to change, control, discipline, manipulate, force and fix myself. I have never once tried to understand and integrate the different parts of myself. All because I believed that I was a bad person and that there was something wrong with me. I have hated the one and only thing that was/is worth loving. I have tried to change the one and only thing that can never change. I have denied the one and only thing that will ever be...ME!!!!

ACTIONS: I have spent a lot of time writing and integrating today lessons because I believe that that is what this course is going to be all about. While I doubt that I will be able to invest as much time in future lessons hopefully as I become better at integrating I will be able to get as much or more out of them. I am writing for clarity and awareness, I am looking for the answers within, seeking to integrate the outer lesson with my inner self. By the way today is my birthday and this is my birthday present to myself!!!

INTEGRATIONS: Hi, my name is Carl Nuckowski. I am a web/graphic/print/schematic designer. I am taking this course to learn to walk the path of the wealthwarrior. And to learn to walk the path of the wealthwarrior, you simply have to go and do it! What this means is that I will take courses like this one, and keep integrating, verbally and writing, and seeing how wealthwarrior concepts are integrated into my life. With each post, I see myself as integrating further what it means, who I become, when I walk the path of the wealthwarrior. With each "action taken" below that I record with my post I am actually walking that path, and I am building my honor.

"A master knows he has not "learned" anything until what he has learned has changed who he is, what he does, or how he does." So what does that mean? A master recognizes value he didn't know before about this process called life, and then he integrates it into his own schema, his own system, his life, his actions. He is not who he was yesterday. He is someone else, he is evolving. Many of us must evolve "in out careers" or we will be left behind, and lose our job. A master carpenter, a master welder, a master mechanic, a master software guru... etc. Everyone knows, instinctively, how to be a master in their niche. The wealthwarrior tools help me to recognize how to be a master in every other area of my life. The quote above is critical to understand.

Do I become a master by scheduling my time and keeping my commitments, alone? No. Mastery can only come through constant improvement. That's why I am taking this course. I am committed to the constant improvement process that it takes to become a master.

ACTIONS: Today my mastery action is that I recorded in my planner that I am taking this e-course after dinner Mon, Wed, and Friday for 20-30 minutes. This action reinforces the value I have in this process to learn to walk the way of the wealthwarrior. I look forward to many insights that will lead to many more actions taken to upgrade my system, who I am and what I do.

INTEGRATIONS: My name is Dan. I have read Dan Millman's (similar name, no relation!)Way of the Peaceful Warrior, and want to integrate the Peaceful Warrior with the Wealth Warrior. The Peaceful Warrior is all about mastering his mind, and not being limited in any way. Peaceful-Warrior-type books are somewhat New Age, but what I take from those books is the overall orientation towards mastering one's mind, being limitless and living a life full of inner and outer adventure, and self-mastery.

What can not be found in Millman's and others' works is practical, systematic applications. That is what I see availble through Wealth Warrior training. I can see the advantages of writing one's thoughts down, rather than just reading. I imagine that most of Millman's readers see very little value from his work, except for a few "aha!"s.

ACTIONS: I just called my friend and reminded her to sign up for this free course.

INTEGRATIONS: My passion is doing and teaching yoga, yet today I question if that is really true. I don't do my private practice, I don't take classes from other teacher, I was schedule to be taking a class today at this moment, and I did not leave in time to make it to the class. At this moment I'm feeling disappointed in myself, and see its time that I got very honest and clear with myself how important or passionate am I if I'm not doing my practice or learning from others, how can I be the best I can be if I'm not growing myself, what quality of teaching can I bring my students? I know this is not the question you ask but it was a distraction to my ability to concentrate, so I thought I would just integrate about where I was at this moment. I can see that this course could empower me to be more clear and honest with myself, inspire me to be the creator of what I really want and let go of those things in my life that I don't want in order to create more space and time for those things I really value, (like my yoga practice and learning from other powerful teachers). I want to be empowered by this class to be vulnerable with everyone, willing to share my weaknesses and mistakes, not protecting my image of looking good. I want to be empowered to be courageous enough to let go of those good things in order to take risk to move into something even better, in other words don't be attached to my successful massage career, so that I can go for the vision of be a powerful yoga teacher. I want to be empowered by this class to be more focused on one career, rather than scattered over three or four, become a master in one area. I want to get from this class the opportunity to connect with others, be an ally to each of you, and learn from you, your experiences and insights.
I want to live in action like a wealth warrior, respond in the moment creatively, be in control of my thoughts and actions.

ACTIONS: What actions have I taken? I scheduled in my daytimer to do class 2 Friday night when I get off work.

INTEGRATIONS: My Name is Richard Mccurdy, I am a Nurse and wear many hats. I am busy and not yet as effective as I would like. I am looking to become more focused and more awake. This is important to me because I have made the association that my happiness will result from my being busy, I will be even happier if I am focused on where I am going. I will be super happy if I am not only busy, focused and most importantly effective. From todays course I recieved the limits and structure that is desired in order to post integrations and actions "effectively". If I accept this structure and if I post effectively, I will then gain the most from posting my integrations, I may even become more clear and more awake. If i am to get anything from this course it will be up to me. To become more focused, awake, and effective i will have to dedicate myself to this pursuit strongly. I may not lose anything by not putting any effort into this. The loss may come from opting out of personal challenges. The main integration from this posting is that I am convinced that From past courses I have gained. From this course I will gain much more if I work and think a little harder to actually activate myself to higher levels of integrating.
ACTIONS: I have challenged myself to work and think harder to integrate and post better.

INTEGRATIONS: Hey there. My name is Alecia. I am taking this program to understand what it means to be a creator. I have been experimenting to see if there is true freedom through thinking and creating or through creating and praying. The question I am asking is can there be true creation in conjunction with a higher power.

I see myself talking about what I have done rather than what I see myself doing...cliche. This one is challenging. So how do you integrate without talking about where you are right now? In the my last experience with integrating I played the person that knew so didn't have to ask. Now I am not concerned with seeming dumb to others. I am just going to ask away. All replies are welcome.

So more on why I am taking this class: I am not fully aware of the "beliefs" I am living my life by. I recently learned that you may outrightly say that you don't believe in something but your actions speak that you do have that certain belief. It is those hidden beliefs that I am curious to discover. I choose to take this course like I am child. Asking lots of questions, having lots of fun, and brainstorming on the material that I connected with.

ACTIONS: Because I have a son and time is ever
-changing. I will say that I am committed to doing a course every other day.

- Thursday, July 04, 2002 at 14:20:11 (PDT)

INTEGRATIONS: I have made a commitment to myself to begin a new path to successes in my life- including personal relationships, finances and emotions as well. Opportunities to integrate with other people traveling the same path and to have a mentor or leader to guide you along the way do not come along in your life unless you are truly looking for them. Then you have to take advantage of the situation when it arises. That's why I enrolled in this course.
ACTIONS: I have scheduled a 2 hour time slot in my day each day to take each lesson and integrate it into my life. If it takes longer than that, I plan to "find" the extra time somehow.

INTEGRATIONS: What am I looking for? That is a great question, because to be perfectly honest, there are times I just don't know. There are times that I am clear about what I want to do, what I want out of life, and then...I fall into a mental fog, a malaise, and I begin to think...why bother.

I am looking for a way to quit defeating myself. I have been my own worst enemy and I know that all I need to do is to get out of my own way. The only way to do that is to master myself.

In reading Mr. Skye's two books, I have come to realize that the internal struggle I have been having with myself is not uncommon. As a matter of fact, it is all together too common, and I do not wish to be common anymore. I wish to ascend to a level of honor. To the level of Warrior. To be that individual who stands fast when all others are fleeing. To march forward when others retreat. To display an integrity, a level of courage that causes others to stand in awe, and to motivate themselves to do the same. I want to reach down and reconnect with my innermost self, and yank that self out of its complacency and inertia and propel it to the farthest reaches of my abilities & talents.

So much for what I am looking for out of this course.

What the material is saying today is that action is needed in order to move forward. Integration is an action. This philosophy is one of action. Therefore, the integration for today is to take action NOW! Do not wait for the perfect moment, or when you feel ready, move NOW! Do it NOW! Don't wait!!!

When your actions have changed into the ones you desire, then you have integrated that concept. Just saying that you get the idea, but then do not apply it with action is just lip service. That is what integration avoids. Since you are compelled to act, this will change your thinking.

ACTIONS: Many may think that this is a strange thing, but I believe it makes the point. I have been trying for years to cut my bodyfat percentage below 20% and down to the 8-10% range. I have not cut certain things out of my diet and yet I have expected to see the results physically. What insanity! I have been saying to my wife that in order to eat better at work during the week, I would purchase a turkey breast to grill and carve up to use for lunches during the week. (Processed lunchmeat is not very good for you, or your diet if you are really trying to cut bodyfat!) So today, while at the store, I bought the turkey breast, put it on the grill, and after I am done with my integrations, I am going to carve it up for my lunches during the week. I have also scheduled in my Palm Pilot, for the next 30 days, one hour per day for this e-course.

INTEGRATIONS: Sign in, introduce yourself to other class members, ask questions about how the course works, and integrate WHY you are taking this e-course.

Hi, I am Jeff. I took the Wealth Warrior course earlier this year but I did not keep up with my integrations. I see the value in this course and am re-commiting myself to get the most out of the course this time around.

I recognize that I am stuck on autopilot and it is important to me to take my life apart piece by piece and reintegrate it with a guidance system that drives me to accomplish my dreams and goals.

Today's course clarified the work and effort needed to do this course and it was helpful to learn how the overall approach one has to the course effects the results one receives. When reading this I reflected back on when I took the course and I couldn't help to notice how a certain pattern that is prevalent in my life stopped me in my tracks with the course. A fear of following through with things outside my comfort zone. I found that I have always said, "I will get to it..." and I usually do but not when it was important or urgent rather when I was comfortable in doing it. I found that by this time I would alter what needed to be done to fit my comfort zone instead of digging deep into the situation like a warrior. Needless to say I never expand past my comfort level and usually end up making an excuse to quit. This is what I joined the class to tackle head on and resolve this fear of getting beyond my comfort zone as the years are passing me by too fast not to do something about it now.

ACTIONS: I just added an alarm in my PDA to remind me to do my Wealth warrior integrations for this course at 5 AM Central 3 days a week. The other 3 days a week I will focus on exercise and Sunday is my day to sleep in should I decide.

INTEGRATIONS: I have worked for several years in the entertainment industry as an editor/videographer and producer. My only lament is that I have spent this time working for someone else!

I am looking to raise money through a variety of business opportunities. I have registered a domain name and have been working on a site. Alas, it is indeed always easier for me to make excuses and question the foundations of society rather than build the kind of relationships and skill sets I need to succeed.

My desire is to turn that around, and start becoming the professional I know I can be. Today I noticed this link at the bottom of my email - it was sitting there for a week in my box before I even saw it. I believe that my imminent success can be regarded in the same way - it has always been there, and I have neglected it or failed to notice it out of fear of leaving the comfort zone.

Had an integration today regarding the nature of anger. For a while I had been feeling a measure of anger towards my former co-workers.
While I was confronting this energy I became calm and open, and realized it was all about fear! Fear of failure, but also fear of success and the changes it would bring to me personally.

It was Winston Churchill who said:
"Courage is the first of the human qualities because it is the quality that guarantees all others"

This quote is from another book I 've been reading called "Unstoppable Confidence". I have been ruminating on that for a while and now that I am in the Wealth Warrior program I am ready for action!

ACTIONS: I revived my morning exercise program and I have scheduled myself to review and integrate the Wealth Warrior lesson from 8-9am. (which is after the exercise program) I am currently using a form of the mini-day system and I will review that this evening to make adjustments that are more congruent with my goals. I have bought a new alarm clock!
